The trek to Everest base camp falls under hard or difficult terrain as the trekkers have to trek under harsh condition. The weight of backpack in solo trek or the high altitude base camp are the determining factors. Moreover trekking across khumbu glacier is hard as it is trek across this melting glacier. The terrain is hard and one must have a hard dedication in accomplishing the dream to make the journey successful. Sometime due to altitude sickness the trek may be diverted or cancelled or waited for proper acclimatization.
