Our trek to Poon Hill begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, where one of our company representatives will greet you and take you to your hotel. The following day, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Temple, and Pashupatinath Temple.
The next day, we will drive to Pokhara, or you can choose to fly there. After a day of rest in Pokhara, we will begin our main trek to Poon Hill. We will drive to Nayapul and trek to Thikedhunga, Ulleri, where we will spend the night. The stone steps of Ulleri zare quite famous. The trail is well-maintained and in good condition, and we will walk for only 6 to 7 hours a day, taking proper rest breaks after walking for 1 hour to prevent physical strain. The colorful Rhododendron Forest will also help to alleviate any stress.
The following morning, we will hike to Poon Hill, our main destination, to witness the best sunrise view over the snow-covered Himalayas. The glowing snow and scattering rays of sunlight create a breathtaking view. After experiencing this picture-perfect moment, we will move on to Tadapani, where we will spend the night. The next day, we will proceed to Ghandruk village, a popular destination for national and international tourists. Here, we will observe the traditions and culture of the Gurung and Magar communities and have the opportunity to taste the local food and drink local drinks while enjoying the warm hospitality of the local people. That night, we will stay in a homestay in Ghandruk with essential amenities and better services and facilities.
After spending a night in Ghandruk, we will trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara, and stay at the Pokhara lakeside. The following day, we will drive back to Kathmandu, and our trek will conclude in Kathmandu.

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu- the lovely and historic capital of Nepal, one of our representatives will be waiting to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time you might want to take a walk around inside the center of Kathmandu, namely Thamel. Also called backpackers paradise Thamel is filled with small and big souvenir shops, boutiques and charming restaurants. So, had a long flight, so get some rest in Kathmandu overnight and your adventure begins tomorrow!

After the breakfast our city tour guide is ready at the Hotel at 8:00 am. then heading for city tour and official person make ready for trekking document. Kathmandu valley is famous for the traditional art, culture, religious places and ancient art and architectures. The medieval architecture of the Kathmandu valley is recognized by UNESCO by listing seven monuments among other numerous, Pashupatinath and Changunarayan the holy temples of Hindu, Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath, the holy Buddhist stupas and durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. It is said that there are as many temples as there are houses and as many deities as there are people in Kathmandu valley. A trained city guide takes you to some of these sites and explains about them. After visiting the valley, you will back to your hotel and take rest and prepare for the next day trip.

Next day, early in the morning, after having breakfast, we head to Pokhara which is almost (1000m/3280) ft or buy bus it took (6 to 8 hour). It’s time to kick off our journey! The first leg of this adventure is a 6 to 8 hour bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara, where you’ll spend the night before starting the trek the following morning. Pokhara is a scenic town at the base of the Annapurna Range and you should catch your first views in the evening.

Elevation: Nayapul (1050m) to Tikhedhunga (1540m)
We’ll kick the day off with a post-breakfast drive to Nayapul, where we’ll take the first steps of our trek! It will take about 45 minutes by private car to reach Nayapul and the Mt. Machhapuchchhre (Fishtail) will always look down on us. Our path will take us past the TIM’s check post and entry to the Annapurna Conservation Area (time for a permit check!). Today is a relatively short hike but you do gain some elevation as the tail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. We stop for the night in the small village of Tikhedhunga.

We’ll be doing some steep climbing today, as we head up what’s known locally as the “Ulleri Stairs”. The path of ascent is a scenic one, winding through forests of magnolia and rhododendron. In flowering season, the sights and scents are absolutely amazing! If you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll catch sight of the Nepal gray langur (monkey) chirping at his peers as he passes through the treetops overhead! If we have time then we can enjoy impressive sunset from Poon Hill. You will stay overnight at Ghorepani.

The day kicks off early with an excursion to Poon Hill and an indescribably wonderful panorama of three Himalayan peaks (Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna I, and Manaslu) illuminated by the glowing rays of sunrise. After the impressive sunrise and mountain views in Poon Hill, we will return back to Ghorepani and head towards Tadapani which is situated at the altitude of 2650m. From here, we’ll also be treated to views of the 6,000m-deep Kali Gandaki Gorge and the visual border of Nepal and Tibet as divided by the trans-Himalayan ranges. It’s back to our lodge for a late breakfast, and then we’re back on the trekking path!
The trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani is notoriously hilly, with lots of up-and-down along the way! Your legs will feel the stretch, but you will delight at the sight of the dense, flowering forests all around you which blow your heart as well as your mind too. Our path brings us over stony steps surrounded on all sides by dense undergrowth and creeping vines, making this leg of the trek feel like a proper adventure! It’s the most adventure part in this trek

Next morning, after having breakfast, we will make an easy trek towards Ghandruk. Once you reach Ghandruk you will have great views of Annapurna South and Fish Tail. Ghandruk is the beautiful and the biggest Gurung settlement of the Annapurna Region beautifully decorated with chortens, prayer flags and the houses made of slates and stones. The people are innocent, true hearted and ever smiling faces surely wins your heart. If you have time visit the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk with your trekking guide. Continuing we will be ascending steeply towards Ghandruk village where we stay for the night.

Today, we will end our adventurous trek. You will have good views of some of the peaks like Annapurna South as you hike. Once you reach the small village of Kimche you will be walking near the road and it’s possible to get a local jeep if you want to reach Nayapul faster. We can think back of our beautiful trek with the precious memories of our Poon Hill trek and it’s amazing scenery. We will reach Nayapul by early afternoon with plenty of time for the 1 hour drive back to Pokhara. After reaching back to the Lakeside city of Pokhara in the evening, you can once more explore the lakeside restaurant and souvenir shops. Overnight in Pokhara.

The six-hour drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu or we can say the scenic drive. We get beautiful views of different mountains, and cultural villages with beautiful surrounding scenes on the way. Your long trek is complete: it’s time for some rest! After an afternoon to nap and relax, we’ll meet up one last time for a celebratory dinner at one of the town’s finest Nepalese restaurants at Kathmandu, where you can give us your feedback on the trek. We stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Every great journey with wounder, unfortunately, comes to an end. After breakfast at your hotel, there’ll be a last bit of time to return any rental equipment, pick up souvenirs, and grab your things. We’ll get you to the airport for your flight home with time to spare with wonderful memories in your mind and beautiful picture grab in your camera.
