During trekking travel may face different health problems due to change in the environment factors of the traveler. Change in altitude, water, temperature, foods, climate may create various health problems during trekking. Trekkers have to take care of their health during trekking carefully.
The negative health effect when the trekker is above 2500 m altitude due to adjustment to smaller quantities of oxygen in the air. Oxygen is nearly half in amount then in sea level due to less atmospheric pressure so it creates various problem of trekkers health because of less oxygen in there body. *High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE)
*High Altitude cerebral Edema (HACE)

While walking the amount of water present in the trekker’s body is lost in the form of sweat so, due to dehydration the traveler faced different health problems and weakness in the body. Trekkers have to kept pure and clean water with themselves and drink plenty of water. In Nepal, mountain area trekkers don’t find the mineral water so take a purified water tablet from the city.
If the shoes doesn’t fit in the trekker’s leg after a long walk there is a possibilities of seen blister in the foot. So trekkers should buy comfortable and fit shoe from the shoe center perfectly. If you have sign of developing blister you can use Blister prevention stick or Blister plaster.
Who don’t have experience of long walk might have leg pain so before the trekking you have to get little experience from the morning walk, cycling, fitness center and some sports.
Huge amount of energy is lost from trekker’s body during trekking. If sufficient amount of nutrition’s is not supply to the body then possibility of weakness is seen in trekker’s body. High reach calorie’s food and proper rest should be taken by trekkers for remedy of weakness.
Due to lack of pure water in the body it may causes dehydration and diarrhoea. Polluted water is another main cause of diarrheoa. Sometimes food poisoning creates diarrhoea that’s why trekking have to take proper care about water and foods.
Tiredness after long journey creates loss of appetites. Body doesn’t get sufficient amount of nutrition’s so trekkers have to supply nutrition’s rich food to the body properly.
Trekking at subalpine and alpine climate in the mountainous area have high possibility of frostbite to the trekkers. Frostbite makes trekkers body injury especially in nose, fingers, toes of the feet resulting gangrene. Trekkers have to take care of their body from cold, wearing a good shoes and shocks, good globes and mask.
Trekkers have to face sun and wind throughout the journey. During journey there is possibilities of sun and wind burn which may occurs especially in mid-day that causes serious infection in the body. For the prevention from sun and wind burn trekkers have to wear wind proof jacket, trousers, hat and uses sun cream.
Depending upon the trekker’s different allergy may occurs in their body. Some trekkers causes sun allergy, some have cold allergy, some have climate allergy depending upon their body so take care from sun, water, air, cold etc.
